This body is not held responsible to anyone or anything and acts on the desires off his or her own desire. Can be related to tyranny or despotism and further categorized as authoritarian or totalitarian. Authoritarianism is authority that hasn"t been put to the test of free elections. A ruling body is in power in different regimes including civilian, military, secular, religious, capitalist etc . Totalitarianism attempts to transform and remake society to produce a utopian society. They are often ruled as a one party state and imposes a single mass political party to control the outcomes of policy. This single party controls every aspect of government. The single party is ruled by one person who is an integral part of the government system.
