Describes the years from 1960 to 1966 where liberal premier jean lesage brought rapid but nonviolent change to quebec. Can be said that in spite of pauses, it lasted for 2 decades. Many french-speaking quebeckers felt as it the french language didn"t occupy the position it deserved.
