For many women supporting themselves independently is not an unrealistic alternative. Due to sex segregation women are restricted to the lowest paying and least security jobs. Wages are so low that it is impossible for women to survive especially if they have children. In small towns there are not many available jobs thus marriage becoming the primary option as this is the only method of keeping the nuclear family together giving them a higher standard of living. In regards to the woman, she cannot separate. The work place is her home and she cannot distinguish away towards her leisure time. Many say whatever the man"s task, the wife. Some women described their expectations of marriage as (cid:498)making a family(cid:499) as one central at organizing get together"s such as dances and games due to the increase of main component of their interpersonal relations. In terms of added work hours their relationship dynamics have changed through out the years.
