Low birth weight increases risk for heart disease and diabetes. Tobacco: reduces flow of oxygen/nutrients to foetus miscarriage, stillbirth, prematurity, sids. Genital herpes and aids are frequently fatal for newborn. During labour, baby is exposed to lots of mother"s blood, may contract hiv.
