Enterprise architecture: the plans for how an organization builds, deploys, uses and shares its data, processes, and it assets. A unified ea will standardize enterprise-wide hardware and software systems, with tighter links to the business strategy. The end result being that the right enterprise architecture can make it cheaper, strategic & more responsive. Enterprise ea are not static, they continually change. Enterprise architect: person grounded in technology, fluent in business, and a patient diplomat, and he or she provides the important bridge between it and the business. Infrastructure definition: the basic physical and organization structures and facilities needed for the operation of an enterprise. Mis infrastructure: includes hardware, software and telecommunications equipment that, when combined, provide the underlying foundation to support the organization"s goals. Amount of digital information produced (always goes up) . Acceptance of standards and protocols (by business and consumers) . Agile: means flexible and quick to respond to changes (e. g. , growth, high demand, etc. )
