Community health psychology: community wide health needs and policies. Health is best understood in terms of biology. Not perfect correspondence between intentions and behaviors. But must have intention before a certain behavior or else behavior wouldn"t have happened. Health belief: a belief we think to be true concerning our health. Which beliefs are most closely linked to behavior. Finds measurable and relevant variables in order to predict behavior. Belief that a given course of action will affect that threat.
