Pseudoscience: a collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific method. Fame -- desire to find oldest nsite//cable show. Nationalism -- desire to prove nationalistic claim. Racism -- inability to recognize the intelligence and capability of the ancestors of another group. There is a great harm in pseudoscience when do not obtain appropriate medical intervention for serious illnesses -- opting for unproven remedies and dying prematurely. One of the defining characteristics of science is its pursuit to modification and refinement of what we know and how we explain things.
