Reactive (affective) aggression: impulsive, unplanned, immediate, driven by negative emotions, occurs after being provoked, occurs more often among relatives. Instrumental (predatory) aggression: calculated, motivated by a goal (money, power, occurs more among strangers. Filicide: when parents kill: killing of children by their biological parents or step parents. Fathers who kill: familicide, when a spouse and children are killed, not always committed by a man.
