His conclusions are about how urbanization has occurred throughout the world during all of human history. He states that urbanization is caused by rural-urban migration not b/c of other possible factors morality rates or differential births. His concept of the s the bottom pre-industrial cities urbanize very slowly, the middle for when they industrialize and then top. He noticed this occurs very fast in urbanization. The developing countries continues to have many huge and rapidly growing cities. It helps to think of the s concept as a graph with x- and y- axis. Cities existed 5,500 years ago and it was to rural people to village or small towns status. Areas that have cities with huge size have less land.
