Now developed countries have never been underdeveloped but they were at one time undeveloped. Underdeveloped countries thought to be that way by their own economic, social, cultural characteristics but its is a product of past and continuing economic relations between satellite and metropole. Erroneous view that underdevelopment can be alleviated by diffusing values of metropoles. On the contrary, development can only happen independent of relations of diffusion. Dual society thesis false and perpetuates underdevelopment: argument: expansion of capitalist system penetrated all sectors of underdeveloped world, so underdevelopment and feudal areas is a product of development of capitalist system and its institutions.
