Significant progress in lifelong health promotion and disease prevention could be achieved by reducing the burden of significant adversity on young children. Accelerated by science-based enhancements in a wide range of policy domains, including childcare and early education, child welfare, public assistance, and employment programs. The framework for improving physical and mental well-being: (1) the biology of health; (2) the foundations of health; (3) caregiver and community. The foundations of health refer to three domains: a stable and responsive environment of relationships. Nurturing, protective interactions with adults: safe and supportive physical, chemical, and built environments. Important of physical and emotional spaces that are free from toxins: sound and appropriate nutrition. The caregiver and community capacities to promote health and prevent disease and disability: time and commitment, financial, psychological, and institutional resources, skills and knowledge. A lot of the illnesses seen in adults are rooted in early childhood experiences exposing them to dangerous toxins.
