The alcohol safety training program had both some strengths and some weaknesses to it. Using these devices/methods is one way of generating trainee interest and increasing their motivation1; and we feel gary demonstrated this appropriately. The support for this claim comes from questions number 7 and 8 in our post-training questionnaire (refer to graph/pie chart x). Also, gary as the trainer was a subject-matter expert which elevated the amount of credibility he possessed in the eyes of trainee"s which in turn contributed to the employee"s buying-in" to the training program or/and being motivated to participate1. The material was presented through a variety of mediums which helped keep trainees interested and from falling asleep. We feel we used a good variety of tools although certain parts could have used more of, which was reflected in our evaluations. In our evaluations we addressed whether or not the content was applicable.
