Those who make decisions about content act as filters as they select and create the images and messages that they represent in the media. These people usually emphasize images and narratives consistent with dominant ideologies in the society as a whole. The corporate control of media has increased so its become more hyper commercialized, media content has emphasized consumerism, individualism, competition and class inequality as natural and necessary in society. Even though there is freedom of speech people on media think twice before they say anything.
