Vision: the normal stimulus for vision is electromagnetic or light waves, which are measured in nanometers, our visual system is only sensitive to the wavelength extending from about 700 nanometres (red) to about 400 nanometers (blue-violet). Visio problems: myopia, if you have difficultly seeing far away objects, but good vision for nearby objects. They are about 500 times more sensitive to light than are the cones, but they do not give rise to colour sensations: the cones, which are colour receptors, function best in bright illumination.
