Textbook example georgina"s symptoms are characteristic of obsessive compulsive disorder. She also display features that distinguish her from other troubled children. Often not clear whose problem it is when parents seek out help. Children themselves will not seek help and therefore may not actual require treatment, the parents, teachers and others in the child"s life may just have a lot of concerns. Many child disorders are the result of that child not meeting developmental milestones. Problems with behavior in youths and children are not always abnormal. Interventions for children are used to promote development instead of restore a previous level of functioning.
