The sex information and education council of canada (sieccan) is active in promoting high-quality sex education in canada and coordinated the development of the canadian guidelines for sexual health education. According to the guidelines positive outcomes are self-esteem, respect. For self and others, non-exploitative sexual satisfaction and sexual pleasure, rewarding human relationships and the joy of desired parenthood. It try to achieve positive outcomes and avoid negative ones. Negative ones are unwanted pregnancy, stis, sexual coercions, sexual dysfunction. Effective sexual health education aims four things: 1. a deeper understanding that is relevant to their speci c health needs and concerns.
