Even if it was once true it can be distorted and become no longer true. We often know these even without being aware. Often false, such as the gamblers fallacy (after a string of bad run you"re bound for a good one) Media myths - primary goal is entertain not accurately represent reality. Media reporting single mothers are largest welfare receivers when in reality it is single childless men. Can be biased such as heavily polluting industries funding research claiming global warming isn"t true and the media giving equal attention to both sides of the argument despite basically nobody actually believes global warming is false. (except trump)
