All employees can access the same copy of a program from the server; with a network it can avoid having to install the program on every computer. (need to purchase a licence) Business can easily exchange information with each other and can share valuable data by transferring files to other users. Business networks are often complex, network administrators are required to maintain, repair, network design and do the installation of networking software. Scalability: more users can be added easily without affecting the performance of the other network nodes.
