Operaional deiniion: describes the acions or operaions that will be used to measure or control a variable: select the research method and design the study. Methods: experiments, case studies, surveys, naturalisic observaion. Paricipants: also called subjects, are the ones whose behavior is being studied: collect the data. Data collecion techniques: procedures for making empirical observaions and measurements: analyze the data and draw conclusions. Stats play an important role because indings are show with numbers to support the hypothesis: report the indings. Journal: is a periodical that publishes technical and scholarly material, usually in a narrowly deine area of inquiry. Reporing your indings is important because this is the only way that science moves forward. Uncovers laws that may not have been accounted for (weeds out indings)
