Color is the property of light. : we see colors when light of a certain wavelength or mixture of reflected wavelengths are received by our eyes. Basic aesthetic perception factors: when looking at colored objects we detect three basic color sensations : the color itself , the color strength and how light or dark it appears . these are called color attributes. Color attribute : hue: hue describes the colors seen in the rainbow and all the variations. Additive color mixing: the primaries for this are red, green and blue, aim red light, green light and blue light at the same are to achieve a variety of hues. Add a red gel in one spotlight , a green in a second, and a blue one in a third. If you dim one of the lights you can produce a bigger variety of colors.
