Students with sensory or physical disabilities that restrict ability to participate in general edu w/out assistance. Handicap= condition imposed on person with disabilities by society, physical environment or person"s attitude. Use language that puts the person before the disability bc disabilities do not define who they are. 12. 9% (bout every 1 in 8) students from ages 3-21 have a learning disability. Intellectual disability- significant limitations both intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior.
