Mimesis: the artist"s process of imitating character and action. Improvisation: the performers make up the words or movements as they go along. Play/script: a written text indicating the words the characters speak and some of the physical action. Production: the fully realized performance of the play with actors, sets, costumes, lighting, and props. Producer: handles the financial and business aspects of the production. Director: is in charge of the artistic aspects of production. Casting director: assists the director and helps the actors to develop and refine their characterizations. Scenic designer: creates a visual home for the play on stage. Costume designer: creates wearable scenery for the actors to help define and express trolling focus and mood with color, placement, and intensity of light.
