Pelvis: pelvis hipbone is the best bone to use to tell us age and sex of the individual, we do not sex children but we use teeth to determine the age. When the child is born the hipbone is in 3 pieces. Ischium: pubis, symphysis pubis is where the ischium and pubis meet. Biological profile: age (adult remains: ribs (4,5,6, use the sternal ends of the ribs indicate how old an individual is, pathology, look for arthritis in all of the bones. Degenerative changes in auricular: start out with sharp border, billowing, striae, reduction of billowing and striae; microporosity, micro (very small holes) and macroposity (very large holes); islands of densification; undulation border; retro-auricular activity (breakdown)". Different causes of death, death occurs after irreversible cardiac arrest: cardio respiratory function fails, collapse of blood pressure, supply of oxygenrated blood to brain gone, loss of cerebral function.
