BIOL 1208 Chapter : Lab Report
Document Summary
Why we are causing the american dream to fail. When i was growing up i was always told by my parents, grandparents, family members that i could be anything i wanted as long as i set my mind to it. My imaginations would run wild and my friends and i would think about being doctors, lawyers, actors and actresses, and entrepreneurs. At my kindergarten graduation we went up on stage and told everyone their what we wanted to be when we grew up. Children start to visualize the lifestyle they will live having this job. Once children enter school they immediately become stratified, whether it is by the school they go to, or the academic tracks teachers classify them in within the school. Although they are stratified, many of these students still believe that they can accomplish anything they put their mind to including their dreams.
