It is the eastern part of china and they trade with each other in this area. There was not an uninterrupted empire in china because it has been divided multiple times throughout history. Confucianism is very important in everyday chinese society. It is a set of ideals that dynasties have based things off of. It did not stop society and culture from changing. China has had really important influences from various countries and people. Buddhism started a major revolution when introduced into society. Also influenced by the silk road, japan, and korea. Very strong muslim influence from the middle east. There is both a traditional and simplified version.
