Document Summary

To me, integrity means having strong moral values, decency, and truthfulness in yourself. I also believe it"s a quality that people either possess or do not possess. If a person is greedy, then they will only work to satisfy their own needs, instead of the needs of the team. This is a dangerous factor because it will ultimately cause destruction throughout the group. Motivated blindness is the inability to see the truth in information, and can be detrimental to a group because it, like greed, is a manifestation of self-interest. Having a sense of entitlement is probably the most toxic factor in moral and ethical values. Feeling like you"re entitled to something eliminates your motivation and drive to work for it, causing a downward spiral instead of successful progression. Finally, the character of a person will always come to surface when working as a team, and those morals (or lack thereof) will normally impact the team"s success.
