Document Summary

A physical injury is a common occurrence that can and will occur in a person"s lifetime. It can vary anywhere from carpel tunnel, a broken ulna, and even cardiovascular disease. Many of these injuries are severe and need the help of surgery to correct, while others may need to just take some time off to recover. No matter what type of injury occurs, rehabilitation must be performed in order for the body to heal properly and return to its pre-injury state. Rehabilitation is a difficult process which can sometimes take weeks, or even months, in order for the body to recover. (humen, king, Phan,& smith, 2001) there are many key factors which go into aiding this recovery process. These factors include multiple sets of exercises, professional doctors or athletic trainers working with the patient, and even motivation provided by the doctor and by the individual themself.
