Nude beach - wear clothes makes you deviant. There is no society of saints: we need deviant behavior because it has functions. Define the limit - see someone else do it and it defines the limit. Increase solidarity - deviant people increase solidarity for good people. Safety valve - deviant behavior helps you let go a little bit so you don"t cause serious damage. Indicate defects - something wrong with the system.
