Palpitation: use of hands and fingers to gather information through touch: guidelines. Different parts of the hands can be used. Presence of tenderness: specifics for different parts. Grasping action: detects position, shape and consistency of an organ or mass. Dorsa (back of hand): determining temp because skin hear is thinner than on palms.
