Theory is an educated guess that is tested over and over again to come up with a final conclusion. Another way to describe theory is multiple facts put together to come up with an answer. Sometimes when testing a theory, you even come up with new facts that were not known before. Hypotheses are used to help construct a theory. They are the main argument of what you are trying to prove. A hypothesis is the very start of a theory and they are fundamental to the construction of the theory: theory can be used in many different ways for the field of child development and family studies. We have many theories to suggest how children develop and act. He constructed a theory to help understand how and why children do/say the things they do. Another way theory can be used is to find new development issues in children.
