In the book, and the court society, he shows historically (historical analysis) that the change changes in the form of institutions (states) are actually related in a concrete way to changes in the behaviour of people. What we think are natural are evolving through biological evolutions. He shows that there are actually forms of behaviour to the form of how people tend to sit, walk, etc. Comport themselves in public and in private (when no one is looking) Is affected by the form of government or the state. Not some metaphysical form that controls you. Simply all of these changes that we read happen because of the change in the form of a state. Government actually create different mentalities and behaviours. During medieval times, there were feudal castles and land owners so a certain type of behaviour was natural (more rustic/naive)
