Local officials are often corrupt & choose to support polluting factories employing thousands of local residents. Polluted water poisoned seafood beijing began treating and protecting water resources of reservoirs. Right of developing countries to develop and address environmental challenges. Ban biochemical weapons and prohibit and destroy all nuclear weapons. Sanction countries that plunder and destroy the environment of developing countries. Beijing established a national environmental protection apparatus. All provinces were required to establish groups for environmental control, research, and monitoring. China"s economic development was ruining the environment. 1978: chinese constitution was amended to acknowledge concern for the environment.
