We read and learned in the previous chapter about common school. in this chapter it discusses how this way of common school started fitting into the culture and way of life for people. Relating to today, school is a part of our culutre and we do not really even think twice about it, which shows the change from then to now. People originally appreciated school a lot more until it started just fitting into their cultures and everyday life, just like today. I find it interesting how some religions were looked down upon and although they are not slaves, they are called dogs which in my mind is equivalent to being a slave. I believe that every culture should be respected because they bring their own types of issues and ideas to the world.
