To form the ud and uds commands: take the yo form of the present tense of the verb, drop the o ending, add the e(n) for ar verbs, and add a(n) for er and ir verbs. Ud commands (no) limpie (no) lea (no) pida. Uds commands (no) limpien (no) lean (no) pidan. Verbs ending in car, -gar and zar have a spelling change in ud and uds.
