Schwann cells : only in pns, form the myelin sheath around axons of. Also participate in axon regeneration, which is more easily accomplished in the pns than in the cns. [node of ranvier : myelination increases the speed of action potential conduction. Put forward 15 broad flat processes that spiral around axons(?) Spiral many times around the axon, ~100 layers.
