Solubility of co2 is 30 times greater in fresh water than oxygen. More co2 dissolved in water than oxygen. Slope for co2 is much steeper than o2. Solubility is influenced by temperature of the water. Solubility of o2 in water as a function of temperature; at a giving partial pressure, more o2 will dissolved in colder water than hot; hot water= lowers solubility.
