Agreeableness is the personality trait most strongly associated with prosocial behaviors. Our mood can determine whether or not we engage in kind behaviors. Those of lower socioeconomic status tend to be more likely to help than those who have more. Seeing someone perform an act of kindness can move us to behave kindly as well. Aggression refers to social behavior with the objective of harming someone, either physically or verbally: social influence. Conformity is a change in a person"s behavior to coincide more closely with a group standard. Informational social influence refers to the influence other people have on us because we want to be right. Normative social influence is the influence others have on us because we want them to like us.
