Glucose regulation we want 70-100 mg/dl in blood stream. Insulin is released when sugar levels are high to bring it down. Stores sugar in the liver and muscle. Glucagon is released when sugar levels are low to bring it up. Proteins travel freely in blood, steroids travel bound.
