Mainstream movements marginalize woc and women who are abused survivors organizing around men as main targets of state violence and criminalization leads to women feeling invisible, lack of knowledge about the struggles women face daily. Romanticizing communities deeply embedded homophobia and racism and sexism in the communities is not addressed; realistic approaches aren"t being made. Criminalization is not effective in long term end to violence; brings already discriminated against women into contact with law/authority often faced with accusation instead of help.
