Full shot of the dining table, husband, wife, and child. Father figure says that they ought to cut back on expenses; economize. States that their gardener, tony, asked for a raise. Says that it doesn"t take much effort to garden", decides to fire tony and take it upon the family to maintain the garden and lawn. Child is trying to get money out of his father, saying that he is usually in a good mood after dinner. Father states that everyone is studying him like he"s an exhibit. Beulah agrees because they love" him and he"s the one that brings in the money. Wife is acting very suspicious because she bought something new.
