Regarding emotional reactions, the split brain patients can vocalize what a certain object is when shown to the left hemisphere. But, when shown to the right hemisphere the patient says they cannot see anything but they can show emotion or a reaction to the object. Therefore, the right hemisphere was able to process the object and conform a reaction to it, but cannot vocalize what they see. Our brain is divided into separate hemispheres with different functions. We can be more left brained or more right brained to a certain extent.
