Start of ir, cheap labor was needed this implied and corresponded to ratio of people working in industry compared to agriculture. Results in 2 things: increase in agriculture productivity. Creates the proletariat which are basically workers in the urban. As people lose their jobs in the countryside they come to the city. Cities grow and percentage of people living in cities drastically increases. Between 1801-1850 cities had their population in the cities increase. Big cities a bigger changes where and how people live as well.
