Weigh less than 1% of mothers body weight (young) Large relative to body size and large in comparison to other mammals. Milk is secreted by glands and licked from tufts of fur. Sperm is thread like--- reptilian in structure. Penis are forked to help release sperm. Litter weight is always less than 1% of body weight. Length of fertilization time to birth- gestation time. Seminiferous tubules- cite of spermatic genesis, where sperm is created and held. Leydig cells- produce and secrete androgen (testosterone) Vas deferens- where sperm is transferred to, passes through urethra. Male- bacculum, female- bone in clitoorous (ost clitourous) Oviducts- carry eggs from ovary to uterus. Bicornuate (most wide spread in lots of different species) Y shaped- common chamber going into cervix. Vagina- opening to the outside of the body.
