Political apathy: indifference on the part of any citizens towards political activity. Political trust: a measurement on citizen"s belief in the government. Trust in government: political trust is decreasing dramatically, started in the 1960"s. Philosophical views on government: john locke and what he talks about with natural rights and the social contract: show up and vote, serving in government, pay taxes. Different forms of government: totalitarian: no limits on the government"s power, authoritative: few legal limits, democracy: many legal limits.
