Perspective: a particular point of view that reflects take for granted assumptions , a system of beliefs, red: Intervention techniques: orange, practice models, yellow, theories of change: how to do social work, green, theories about human behavior and environmental contexts, blue, paradigms/world views, the post in the middle is use of self. Conflict theory perspective: linked with karl marx, focus on inter class struggles, social systems and identities divide and contribute to inequality, groups in society are engaged in a continuous power struggle for scarce resources . Group members often have different political, economic, social, religious and cultural values. In the largest level of systems and social institutions, what would benefit the most people are rarely gained. A component inherent to the diversity perspective in social work is recognizing that diverse identities and experiences are often tied to different experiences of privilege, discrimination, and inequality.
