Summer has come to an end and now classes are about to begin, but where will you live? There are so many housing options on and off campus that you are stuck having to narrow down your choicesg. Are you having trouble with this? We got it covered. Below we have listed some of the top residences at Barnard College.

1. Andersen Hall

An image of Andersen Hall Address: 134 Claremont Avenue This dorm features double-occupancy rooms with Twin XL beds. Students who stay here can enjoy lounge areas, a common kitchen located on a variety of floors, and laundry facilities.

2. Brooks Hall

An image of Brooks Hall Address: The Quad (3009 Broadway) This dorm currently houses a little over 140 students. Students can choose to live in corridor-style double, triple, and quad-occupancy rooms. Students will have access to a lounge, computer lab, and practice rooms.

3. Elliot Hall

An image of Elliot Hall Address: 49 Claremont Avenue (at the corner of 119th Street) This dorm houses 96 sophomores and juniors. Students can live in a single room or double room that are in 12-person clusters. Each cluster shares a bathroom and a living space.

4. Cathedral Gardens

An image of Cathedral Gardens Address: 217 Manhattan Ave (at corner of 110th Street) This dorm opened in 2005. Students who live here are generally upperclassmen. Students can live in single or double rooms. Each room is suite-style so students share a semi-private bathroom.

5. Hewitt Hall

An image of Hewitt Hall Address: The Quad (3009 Broadway) This dorm currently houses 215 upperclassmen. Students choosing to live here can choose to live in a single or corridor double room. Students can also enjoy lounges and kitchenettes.

6. Plimpton Hall

An image of Plimpton Hall Address: 1235 Amsterdam Avenue (at corner of 121st Street) This dorm was built in 1968. It currently houses up to 268 upperclassmen. Students living here can live in either a single or double room which is grouped together as a 6-person suite.

7. Reid Hall

An image of Reid Hall Address: The Quad (3009 Broadway) This dorm hall currently houses 145 students. Students who live here will live in a double-occupancy room. Students will also be able to enjoy various amenities such as a courtyard and a game room.

8. Sulzberger Tower

An image of Sulzberger Tower Address: The Quad (3009 Broadway) Students who choose to live here can live in a single or double corridor style room. Students can also enjoy practice rooms, a computer lab on the first floor, and a kitchen which is located on each floor.

9. Sulzberger Hall

An image of Sulxberger Hall Address: The Quad (3009 Broadway) This dorm currently houses 328 students. Students living here can live in a double, triple, or quad-style dorm room. Students can also find a lounge area, study rooms, and a computer lab here.

10. 620 West 116th Street Residence Hall

620 West 116th Street Residence Hall Address: 620 West 116th Street (at the corner of Riverside Drive) This dorm is home to at least 179 upper-class students. Students living here can live in a single in double room which are located in suite-styled dorms. Students living here will also find a common area and practice rooms here.
