Located in Great Bend, Kansas, Barton County Community College is a comprehensive community college built on 160 acres atop a hill. The college offers fine and performing arts courses, traditional general education courses, technical training offerings, transfer options, and online classes. Below is a list of 10 of the coolest courses offered at the institution.

1. ARTS 1205 - Graphic Design

This is an introductory course to graphic design and visual intelligence. Students in the course will learn the fundamental concepts and techniques of graphic design. The course is considered cool because it involves very interactive practical sessions. Students will interact with different design tools and computer software related to graphic design.

2. AUTO 1024 - Auto Body Repair I

The course is mainly practical and students will spend most of the time exercising through various routines. This course is recommended for students that wish to major in Physical Education.
