7. CLAS 281S - Ancient Sports

Classes where text books are not required are always cool, though CLAS 281S is something else. In this class, most of your readings will be distributed by the professor on a weekly basis; expect to engage with these readings throughout the week they’re assigned, but don’t worry, for they’re almost always interesting. 8. MATH 147 - Elementary Statistics

9. HIST 273 - Chinese Civilization

You won’t have to put in a lot of effort to do well in this class, but remember that attendance is paramount. There will be several short projects in this class, none of them are anything too challenging, and all of them will be group assignments. 10. MUS 111 - Music Cultures

From the title, you may think this is going to be a boring class. Such could not be further from the truth. Like most of the lecture-based courses offered at this school, attendance isn’t required (though it’s strongly advised) and there are only a handful of assessments given throughout the semester. But more importantly, the information you’ll receive in this class is valuable and applicable in the real world.
