As a freshman at Bowling Green State University, you will be required to take a 1910 course. These are just a set list of 6-week courses each student is required to take. For HHS 1000 you will be required to read a book called The Naked Roommate. This book cover multiple topics that you may face as a freshman in college
2. Major search
As a HHS 1000 student, you will go to different engagement activity days. On these days, you will look at different departments throughout the college and answer questions. These activities can help you if you were unsure about your major.
As an assignment, you will have to put items in your shopping cart early. By doing this the day classes are open to schedule, you will just have to click a button.
4. Meeting advisors
Some of the teaching assistants in your HHS 1000 class will be listed in your student center as your graduate student advisor. It gives you the chance to meet your advisor before you will have to schedule your mandatory appointment.
5. Small class size
Most lectures when you get to college will have over 100 other people. This can become very stressful so by taking HHS 1000 as your 1910 course you will know all your classmates.
