1. Criminal Justice Technology
The Criminal Justice Technology curriculum is created to provide students with information and help them learn about criminal justice systems and operations. The study focuses on local, state and federal law enforcement, judicial processes, corrections and security services.
2. Criminal Justice Technology - Forensic Science Concentration
Forensic Science is one of the concentrations behind the curriculum of Criminal Justice Technology. This major pays heed to biomedical, social and physical sciences as well as the analysis and evaluation of physical evidence, human testimony, and criminal suspects.
3. Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education curriculum gives students the ability to learn how to work with children from their infancy to around middle school. In this major students combine theories that have already been taught to others with practice in real-life settings with young children under the supervision of experienced teachers.
4. Health and Fitness Science
CVCC’s Career Services works closely with sophomore students toward employment in a fitness field. They allow students to use their energy and love for fitness and transform it into a money-making operation.
5. Infant/Toddler Care Certification
This certification allows students a chance to learn how to work with children from their infancy to around middle school. In this major students combine learned practices that have already been taught to others with practice in real-life settings with young children under the supervision of experienced teachers.
CVCC offers the Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree, with a concentration in Music which is a program designed to put students in a professional setting where they can learn to be musicians or work in the fine arts.
7. Photographic Technology
CVCC offers a creative way of teaching photographic technology where they allow students to learn solely through experience. Teachers help students during all the work assigned and assist them in order to make the best product possible.
8. Accounting and Finance
The Accounting major is designed to allow students to learn the information and the skills necessary for getting a job in the accounting profession. CVCC teaches students basic types of accounting as well as how to further in the field.
9. Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Technology
The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology major teaches students how to work and improve air conditioning, heating and refrigeration into a health profession.
10. Business Administration
The Business Administration major is a normal program made to teach students the different aspects of business majors. Students will learn the basics of how a business works and how a business affects the general economy.
